After March 31, 2023, subscribers who have not standardized their information will be locked in one way

At the request of the Ministry of Information and Communications, from March 15, 2023, mobile carriers will send notification and reminder messages to subscribers who have not standardized their information.

After March 31, 2023, mobile carriers will conduct 1-way lock, 2-way lock or terminate contracts with subscribers who have not standardized information after April 15, 2023.

So what should we do?

When receiving a message or call from the carrier about the incorrect information of their subscriber, the subscriber can try to take the following steps as soon as possible to avoid being blocked by the carrier:
1. Check subscriber information in the following ways:
  • Through the application of the carrier in use.
  • Call your carrier’s hotline to request and check for missing or incorrect information.
  • Check subscriber information at the carrier’s official website.
2. Change or update missing or incorrect information for current subscribers by one of two ways:
  • Access the carrier’s official application on the phone to change and add more complete and accurate information.
  • You bring your ID/CCCD to the nearest branch of the network operator to ask the staff to standardize the information.
  • Some carriers also have a home support policy, subscribers can actively contact the carrier to discuss more about this issue.
We hope you and everyone take a little time to check personal information on your mobile subscribers to avoid unnecessary troubles.
